MP Police Subedar SI 2026: Physical Test (PET/PST) Complete Guide

Written exams are only half the battle in the MPESB MPSI notification 2026. The other half is your body, and MP Police does not give any shortcuts here.

Many candidates spend months preparing for the written papers but ignore the physical stage until the last moment, and that is where a lot of good candidates lose their chance despite scoring well in the exam.

If you are preparing for the MP Police Subedar SI 2026 notification, this blog breaks down the exact MP Police SI physical test 2026 and physical standard rules, so you know exactly what timing and distance you need to hit, how marks are given for each attempt, and what the medical board checks before your final selection.

Disclaimer: This blog is based on the official MPESB Subedar/SI Recruitment 2026 notification and is meant for informational purposes only. Candidates are advised to verify all dates, marks, and eligibility standards on the official website, www.esb.mp.gov.in, before applying or making any exam-related decisions. In case of any discrepancy, the official notification will always prevail.

If you have not gone through the exam pattern yet, check our MPSI Syllabus 2026 blog for the written exam subjects. Right here, we focus on the physical stage.

When Does the Physical Test Happen in the Selection Process

The MPESB SI Subedar vacancy 2026 selection has four stages:

  1. Preliminary written exam (Prelims)

  2. Main written exam

  3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  4. Interview

Only candidates who clear the Main written exam are called for the Physical Efficiency Test.

Minimum Passing Marks in MP Police SI Physical Test 2026

Only candidates who get the minimum required marks in PET can move forward for interview and final selection.

For non-technical posts (Subedar, Sub Inspector Special Armed Force, Sub Inspector District Police Force), the minimum passing marks in PET are 30 out of 100.

For technical posts (Sub Inspector Arms, Photo, Questioned Documents, Finger Print), the minimum passing marks in PET are 20 out of 100.

If a candidate does not get these minimum marks, they will not be considered for selection, even if they passed the written exam.

No Date Change and No Medical Certificate Accepted

Once your PET date is announced, it cannot be changed for any reason, including health. MPESB does not accept a medical certificate or any other document as grounds for rescheduling your physical test date. If you miss your assigned date, you lose your chance in the physical test.
