MP Police Constable GD Physical Test 2026: Height, Chest & PET Marks Table Explained

MP Police Constable GD Physical Test 2026: Height, Chest & PET Marks Table Explained

Clearing the written exam is only half the job in MP Police Constable (GD) recruitment. Every candidate who qualifies still has to get through a physical round before their name can appear on the final merit list, and this round is where many otherwise strong candidates lose out simply because they did not know the exact cut offs going in.

This physical round has two parts: a physical efficiency test that scores you on running, jumping and throwing, and a physical standard test that checks your height and chest measurement against fixed cut offs.

This article walks through both parts in detail, including the exact height and chest standards, the complete marks tables for the physical efficiency test, the qualifying rules and the documents you need to carry on the day.

Disclaimer: This article is based on the official MPESB recruitment rules and exam conduct rulebook for Constable (GD) 2026. In case of any discrepancy, the official notification issued by MPESB will prevail. Please check the details here with the official notification on www.esb.mp.gov.in before applying or attending the physical test.

MP Police Constable GD 2026: Health and Medical Standards

The District Medical Board checks the following during the medical examination.

  1. Height measurement.

  2. Chest expansion, for male candidates only.

  3. Vision. The candidate should have no eye disease. Without glasses, vision should not be less than 6/9 in one eye and not less than 6/12 in the other eye. Candidates must be able to tell the difference between major colours, which is tested using colour vision plates.

  4. No knock knees and no flat feet.

  5. The candidate's body should not have any kind of disability.

Along with getting your body ready for the physical round, it helps to keep your books in order too. This MPESB book collection is a good place to check if you need to fill any gaps in your preparation.
